Geoff is a Dublin based artist whose work focuses on the minute beauty of life, as well as the darkness that enraptures the soul. He has recently ventured towards more social commentary, tackling the issues of homelessness and the effects of gentrification on the inner city.
Geoff was recently published by Langan Publishing for his poem Notes On Junkies Dancing In St Kevin's and had his piece Falling selected as part of the Spoken Word album Summer Solstice VIII by Stanzas Limerick. His first book, Where Only Balloons Go, is due for publication in November. Geoff held his first solo exhibition, Musical Statues, on Culture Night this year.
Geoff has been performing for the past 3 years around Ireland and is a regular in nights such as The Collective, The Monday Echo, The Jailbreak Sessions, The Circle Sessions, The Sunflower Sessions, Vybrations and Gigonometry. He recently headlined the What's The Story writers think tank with Colm Keegan and Alice Kinsella, which centered around life in the Liberties. Geoff also toured this year on the Back to Basics and A Poet and A One Man Band tours and has been interviewed by both FM104 and the Dublin Enquirer about his involvement in the Spoken Word scene in Dublin. He will finish off the year by performing in one of Ireland's great venues, St Patrick's Cathedral, where he will join and all star lineup to celebrate the Jonathon Swift Festival.
