What does collaboration mean to you? Working together is the lifeblood of our brand and everything we do, but what does that really mean? Saara, Tim and Greg explain what collaboration means to them, and why it is so important.
Episode 1: Saara's view
I see collaboration as a journey. The feeling of having a one-way ticket to a new place, that appeals to you in terms of its culture, colours and people. Excitement and uncertainty: you are ready to go, but not exactly sure what your path will offer. You hope that this will be one of the best experiences of your life; that you will learn something new; that you will meet new people, be inspired, and learn to be humble.
This is how I feel right now. Although it may not be a physical one-way ticket I am holding, I am at the beginning of an exciting journey. My future is in my hands.
You have a rough idea of where you want to end up, but no fixed destination. You may start your journey with partners, like we are now, but you also meet people on the way who will influence what paths you will follow. Your idea will grow and develop as you go along.
For me, this is all part of the fun. This is the game. I am very excited to see where this journey will take us: what creative, curious, and courageous ideas we will come up with. I am sure that throughout the way, the talented, inspiring and interesting people with whom we will have the pleasure to collaborate will amaze me. Together we are more creative, we learn from each other and we have more fun.
I am ready to start the journey. Are you?
